Mr. Jankowski is a Senior Trial attorney with the Law Offices of Benvenuto & Gaujean. For almost 30 years, Mr. Jankowski has devoted his career to defending clients in high exposure, complex medical malpractice matters, handling cases from inception through trial. Mr. Jankowski has successfully litigated cases of significant exposure on behalf of individual physicians and other healthcare providers, hospitals, nursing homes and medical groups, and has successfully obtained defense verdicts in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties on numerous cases.

Mr. Jankowski is responsible for all aspects of medical malpractice litigation including conducting discovery and depositions, pre-trial and post-trial motion practice, developing strategies and settlement negotiations.

Mr. Jankowski obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Long Island University/C.W. Post Campus in political science and criminal justice magna cum laude in 1985. Thereafter, Mr. Jankowski earned a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 1992. Mr. Jankowski served as Editor on the Hofstra University School of Law Environmental Law Digest. After graduation from law school, Mr. Jankowski was a judicial clerk to a Justice of the Supreme Court, State of Connecticut wherein he researched and drafted opinions on a multitude of appellate issues.

Mr. Jankowski is admitted to both the New York and Connecticut Bars.
