DEFENSE VERDICT FOR PROMINENT ANESTHESIOLOGIST

James Jankowski and Dino Litourgis obtained a defense verdict in July 2023 on behalf of an anesthesiologist and his group involving an alleged failure to properly administer a pre-operative nerve block in preparation for Achilles tendon surgery. It was plaintiff’s allegation that the nerve block was administered negligently and resulting in neurological injuries causing plaintiff to suffer a permanent limp, weakness in the leg and Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. In addition to the medical records the defense showed the jury social media evidence the refuted plaintiff contention.

The jury dismissed plaintiff argument and delivered a verdict in favor of our insured and the practice.
