Ginette M. Portera obtained summary judgment in May of 2022 on behalf of an otolaryngologist in a case venued in Kings County alleging negligent care of a then 32-day old infant during the removal of a skin tag from the infant’s neck. The infant developed laryngospasms and required intubation. The infant allegedly suffered from respiratory issues, asthma, frequent colds, and pneumonia.
