DEFENSE VERDICT FOR DENTIST

James Modzelewski obtained a defense verdict in April 2024 on behalf of his client, a general dentist. The 47-year-old patient sought consultation and treatment related to pain and infection to a lower molar. After examination and radiology studies, the patient was scheduled for root canal therapy. During treatment, the parties experienced a known complication. The patient was referred to an endodontist for further consultation and the root canal was successfully completed. 

A Queens County jury deliberated for less than half a day before returning a defense verdict on behalf of our dentist.
