DISMISSAL OF NEUROLOGIST IN CASE OF ALLEGED IMPROPER PERFORMANCEOF IME

In 2024, a Queens County case was dismissed as a result of a summary judgment motion filed by Julio Vasquez, Esq.  It was alleged that our client, a neurologist, improperly performed an Independent Medical Examination.  The patient claimed to have suffered multiple cuts to her right inner forearm due to the negligent use of a pinwheel by our client. Justice Tracy Catapano-Fox, J.S.C. granted the motion for summary judgment, and dismissed the case pursuant to CPLR §3212.
