DISMISSAL OF INTERNAL MEDICINE AND PULMONARY/CRITICAL CARE PHYSICIANS FROM CASE INVOLVING ACUTE PANCREATITIS AND ABDOMINAL INFECTION

In May 2024, Kevin Natale obtained a dismissal of a Rockland County action against an internal medicine physician and a critical care/pulmonary medicine physician.  The case involved an alleged failure to treat acute pancreatitis and abdominal infection in a timely and proper manner, resulting in intestinal fistula, sepsis/septic shock, pulmonary and renal complications, a need for multiple abdominal surgeries, and other associated injuries to a 57-year-old female.
